Olneya Accounting MCP Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Olneya, LLC handles data accessed by the Olneya Accounting MCP integration. The integration is used internally for authorized accounting and finance operations and is not offered to the public.
Information Accessed
The integration may access QuickBooks Online data needed for authorized operations, including:
- company profile and accounting configuration data;
- chart of accounts, classes, customers, vendors, items, and related lists;
- transactions, bills, invoices, expenses, payments, journal entries, and attachments where available;
- audit and status information returned by QuickBooks Online APIs.
Use of Information
Information is used to support accounting setup, record maintenance, reconciliation, reporting, vendor and customer workflows, and related financial operations. Olneya does not sell this information and does not use it for advertising.
Storage and Security
OAuth credentials and sensitive integration secrets are intended to be stored only in Olneya-approved secret-management systems and local development environments controlled by authorized personnel. Production credentials should not be committed to source control or stored in shared drives.
Sharing
Data may be shared only with authorized Olneya personnel, approved accounting or tax advisors, service providers acting under Olneya direction, or as required by law.
Retention
Accounting records and related operational evidence are retained according to Olneya recordkeeping practices, legal requirements, tax requirements, and advisor guidance.
